Professional Experience:

I have been on staff with Skadron College, a Corinthian School, since 1988.  During that time I instructed the Medical Assisting course for ten years and served as the Allied Health Externship Coordinator from March 1998 to May of 1999.  Currently, I am an on-call substitute for both the Business and Allied Health Departments.  I developed competency based programs for two Limited License Radiology programs, a CNA program, an LVN/LPN program and assisted in revising the Medical Assisting and Medical Office Management programs.

I co-authored two publications for Delmar Publishers in Albany, NY.  Medical Assisting:  Clinical Skills Manual and Telephone Triage Card Deck.  Both texts emphasize critical thinking and follow the AAMA DACUM.  I was a content expert for both editions of Delmar's Medical Assisting Video Series: Administrative and Clinical Procedures.
My previous positions include:  Medical Assistant and Radiology Technician (Louis Brenner, M.D., Montclair) Office Manager, Physical Therapy Aid and Phlebotomist (Jeri P. Barnes, D.C., Ontario), Medical Assistant, X-ray/Lab Technician (Falk-Altimirano Clinic, El Monte) and Charge Supervisor (Arrow Convalescent Hospital, Covina).
